NiceThe time is now change starts with you !!!!!

If your goal is just to earn money each month to pay bills or pay off debt, your wealth will never grow. People with this game plan often pay their bills then blow the surplus on wasteful things. But those whose goals are to earn more than their bills so that they can keep stockpiling their surplus, they are the ones who eventually live a wealthy lifestyle and bless others. Remember, you get more of whatever you focus on. Thoughts are things … so steer your thoughts. Focus on debt and you will get more of it. Focus on wealth, and you will get more of that. telanjmillington.com Youngliving.org/telan87 Jareen97@gmail.com 3479659087

Make 2017 your best…year…YET!

Most people start each New Year with good intentions and high hopes for a better year than the last. They start out refreshed, motivated and ready to take on their list of goals. But unfortunately, 1 in 4 people will give up on their New Year’s Resolutions within the first week, and more than half will quit within the first 6 months!

But that will NOT be you! Not this year! No, this is the year you will accomplish your goals.

In order to help you start your year right, I want to share an audio training I did a few years ago.

It is a powerful training that will show you:

Simple keys to setting attainable New Year’s Resolutions

A step-by-step system to accomplish all of your goals

How to turn a list of good intentions into real, tangible results

How to make 2017 your BEST

 Reclaim YOUR “child-like” faith!

When you were younger, did you believe in Santa Claus? Or the Easter Bunny? How about the Tooth Fairy? Maybe you believed your dad was Superman, or another superhero, in disguise. Kids have the most beautiful ability to demonstrate complete and honest faith, with absolutely no need for proof. Faith is not based on proof and it needs no evidence. But a lot of confusion and skepticism swirls around out there about the true nature of “faith.” Generally, faith is seen as some kind of “religious” thing. But truthfully, it’s simply having confidence – or placing trust – in something. And we were all born with this gift of faith. Faith allowed you to believe in Santa as a kid. And, as adults, faith actually changes our behavior and can set you up for outrageous success. And – believe it or not – without faith, success will be impossible! What ever happened to that kid who dreamed BIG?!

Good morning! What do you want to do in your life, what places do you want to visit or goals do you want to accomplish?

Sadly, very few people have the initiative to actually DO them! Seriously, I know people who are nearly 80 years old, with lifelong dreams to visit Israel or to go abroad, and they still haven’t gone. Life is short… and before you know it, you could be “that” person, as well – unless you do something about it NOW.

Maybe you think you can’t afford it, don’t have time or worried about the kids. But listen, friend, there is never a shortage of things to spend money or time on.

The thing is, if you don’t tell your time and money where to go, it will so easily get sucked into entertainment, gas station hot dogs, Starbucks… and slowly, move you further and further away from your dreams. General Electric CEO Jack Welch, said it well: “Control your own destiny or someone else will!”

Honestly, the real problem is not that these goals or dreams are unachievable, it’s a simple confusion of priorities. If your life goal is to travel to Israel, don’t you think it should be a higher priority than a Starbucks run every morning?

If your goal involves going back to school, maybe you should take night classes instead of lounging in front of the television every evening. You will always encounter obstacles, but if you put HALF as much energy into overcoming those obstacles, instead of complaining about them, you just might get where you want to go!

You were born with an adventurous spirit. I bet if I could talk to your mother, she would rave about what a charismatic child you were, growing up. But somewhere along the path, you picked up responsibilities, rejection, debt – and stopped investing into that drive and excitement you used to have for your life.

This morning, let me encourage you to pick-up those dreams again. Start thinking – for real – about what you want to accomplish in your life and make it a priority in this new season. Instead of focusing on barriers standing between you and that goal, figure out the baby steps you can take daily to move you closer to it.

You DON’T gave to cross the finish line first to be a WINNER!

Have you ever used or heard the phrase, “It doesn’t matter if you win or lose… it’s how you play the game.” And, if you’re a parent with a kid who has ever participated in sports, I’m positive you’ve used that exact line! But, it reminded me of a story about a high school athlete named Meghan. As a seasoned competitor, she had just won a prestigious state title. And, to make it even better, she was actually the first girl to win that particular title in over 20 years! However, while competing in her last race of the day, a fellow competitor collapsed on the field. At that point, Meghan made – to some – a surprising choice. Instead of continuing to run toward her inevitable state championship title, Meghan stopped in her tracks to help the fallen student. Later, she told reporters, helping her fellow competitor across the finish line was more satisfying than winning. I just had to share that with you today, because it illustrates a very valuable perspective on competition. You see, I encounter a lot of parents who try to protect their kids from competition. Now, don’t get me wrong – competition can be destructive and extremely negative. This applies particularly to certain personality types, who can take competition pretty seriously. Yet, if your kids don’t know how to handle competition or to always steer clear of it, it will hurt them in the long run. Believe it or not, healthy competition DOES exist! Taking the right approach – with the proper guidance – training and grooming children about competition, from a healthy perspective, can inspire growth, teach them to always give their best, be ambitious and reach for goals bigger than they ever thought possible. On the other hand, unhealthy competition can cause jealousy, anger, stress, resentment and conflict. But what happens if you don’t teach your kids about healthy competition? Neither alternative is good: Either they learn to be afraid of competition or go to the other extreme and become too competitive! When you talk about competition, it’s easy to immediately think in terms of sports. But our children can experience competition in a variety of activities, such as debate, band, academics or any other activity they display a passion for. Why rob your kids of the opportunity to learn about teamwork and push themselves toward excellence… among the greatest benefits of participation in sports and extracurricular activities?!  Do you seek God just in BAD times…or in GOOD times, too?!

We all go through different seasons in our lives. Some seasons bring abundant blessings. Everything goes along fine, all of our needs are met and we’re generally satisfied. These times may seem like happy, carefree, easy, fruitful times. But they hold danger, as well, because it is so easy to quit pursuing God in these seasons. When all of our needs are met, we don’t “need” God. (Or so we think…) We stop being hungry, because we have everything we need.

But, when we hit the seasons of drought, our hunger returns and we cry out to Him. When we’re dry, don’t have the answers, hurt and lost, THEN we seek God. We may even beg or bargain with Him.

Too quickly, we neglect Him in the good times and use Him in the bad times.

I’ve seen this happen so often. In the beginning, when we’re hungry and desperate, we wake up in the middle of the night, get up early, spend hour after hour seeking God. We just want to be with Him. We put aside our own needs and wants, just so we can spend more time with Him.

But as time goes on, our desperation decreases and hunger all but disappears.

You see, our relationship with our Father is all about the pursuit. Do we pursue Him? Do we seek Him? Do we follow Him? The pursuit is what makes us.

However, most of us pursue comfort, convenience, what’s easy… what’s right in front of us.
